Our Mission

The Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA), formed in 1975, works to effectively serve the interests and needs of the residents of Hamilton Park neighborhood. Our purpose is to:

• Provide a forum for members to report, learn about, consider, take positions on, and act on issues of local concern, including all of downtown Jersey City, and, where appropriate, the entire city and state

• Serve as members’ liaison to other organizations, to government agencies and others

• Provide advocacy and representation to the residents of the Hamilton Park neighborhood

• Foster community among residents of the area

• Promote a cleaner and safer neighborhood

• Assist in upgrading Hamilton Park, Enos Jones Park, and their immediate environs

The Hamilton Park neighborhood of downtown Jersey City is defined by Marin Blvd to the east, Newark Ave to the west, 12th St to the north, and 6th St to the south.

A.D.A. Grievance Procedure:  Complaints concerning discrimination on the basis of disability by HPNA may be sent via email to hpnajc@gmail.com or by mail to 344 Grove Street, PMB #166, Jersey City, New Jersey 07302.  Contact will be attempted within fifteen calendar days after receipt of the complaint to discuss the complaint, with a response in writing submitted within fifteen days of the discussion.
