7:40-8:00 Guest Speaker from Explore 2000 (the middle school moving to 180 9th Street) Hudson County Schools of Technology Superintendent Frank J Gargiulo and Amy Lin-Rodriguez, Explore 2000 Middle School Administrator 

The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (JCRA) recently approved a lease contract with Hudson County Schools of Technology (HCST) to provide Explore 2000 Middle School more physical learning space and offer post-secondary opportunities at the Community Educational Recreation Center (CERC) of Jersey City- 180 9th Street. The JCRA will continue to manage the already existing community programs offered in CERC.

HCST is a county-funded vocational school district that features choice high schools such as High Tech and County Prep, as well as many vocational training and youth programs for students throughout Hudson County. Explore 2000 Middle School has been in existence for over 18 years offering a 3 year progressive approach to education through real-life learning experiences for students starting in grade 6.  STEM initiatives and Character Education are integrated throughout a thematic unit, project-based approach, while also offering a blend of traditional learning labs in core subject areas.

Student enrollment for the 2015-2016 School Year is currently filled at the both the high school and middle school levels.
