Diane Atwell is a Hawaii native, who moved to the Wells Fargo building in Hamilton Park in 2000. She graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Hawaii in 1988. Since relocating to New Jersey she worked at Beer and Coleman Architects on a wide variety of commercial projects, including: office buildings, senior housing, and nursing facilities. After retiring from architecture in 2007, Diane and her husband had their son Xavier. Since his birth, she volunteered with the Jersey City Moms Meet-up and hosted a bimonthly new members orientation. For the last several years, she has been teaching Sunday School at Saint Michael Parish. Diane hopes that her architecture expertise will add to the knowledge base of the board. She looks forward to the opportunity to serve and impact the neighborhood in a positive way.
